I am officially back! While I was on maternity leave, Dr. Hamilton was busy adding new skin care products to our arsenal. Each helps with anti-aging and skin rejuvenation in their own unique way.
The first two products are part of the (plated)™ Skin Science line. We have had the INTENSE Serum but have now added the EYE Serum. (plated)™ uses platelet-derived exosomes, which deliver a combination of growth factors, peptides, and antioxidants to support collagen and elastin production. Exosomes are small extracellular vesicles released by various types of cells into the extracellular space. They typically range in size from 30 to 150 nanometers in diameter and play a crucial role in intercellular communication. Exosomes are formed within the endosomal system of cells and contain a variety of molecular constituents, including proteins, lipids, RNA, and other molecules, and are involved in various biological processes, such as immune responses, cell signaling, and the transfer of genetic material. Exosomes have gained significant attention in biomedical research due to their potential roles in disease progression, particularly in cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and other conditions. They are also being explored as biomarkers for diagnosis and as a means of delivering therapeutics. This product is excellent for those with fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, crepey skin, and dark circles. We also have the Intense Serum for daily to weekly use.
The next new additions are OneSkin BODY Topical Supplement and OneSkin FACE Topical Supplement. OneSkin uses the OS-01 peptide to help reverse the skin’s biological age by preventing the accumulation of senescent cells. Senescent cells have entered a state of permanent growth arrest but remain metabolically active. This phenomenon, known as cellular senescence, can occur in response to various stressors, including DNA damage, oxidative stress, and telomere shortening. While senescence is a natural part of the aging process and can act as a protective mechanism to prevent the proliferation of damaged cells (which could potentially lead to cancer), the accumulation of senescent cells in tissues can secrete various pro-inflammatory factors, growth factors, and cytokines, collectively known as the senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP). This secretion can influence the behavior of neighboring cells and contribute to chronic inflammation, tissue dysfunction, and age-related diseases. Decreasing senescent cells can promote cellular repair pathways, collagen and hyaluronic acid production, and enhance epidermal thickness to improve barrier function. This product comes in both a facial and body moisturizer for total body improvement. These products are recommended for any patient with mature skin.
The fifth, and newest, is Pavīse Dynamic Age Defense SPF. This sunscreen also helps to reverse skin aging, scavenge free radicals, restore the skin barrier, and protect against harmful UVA/UVB sun rays. This is an ideal product for those who want a simplified, one-and-done morning skin regimen or after skin procedures.
For September, we will be offering 10% off on the (plated)™ Skin Science Intense Serum, the (plated)™ Skin Science Eye Serum, OneSkin FACE Topical Supplement, OneSkin BODY Topical supplement, and the Pavīse Dynamic Age Defense SPF.
